In a recent tweet, Valkyrae mentioned: Valkyrae's contract with YouTube ends on Saturday, January 15, according to her, and she still has to stream for a total of 198 hours before it's up. Valkyrae requested her Twitter followers what she should stream and if anyone wants to play with her to help her complete the 198-hour commitment. People offered recommendations for how Valkyrae could meet her 198-hour requirement by January 15 in response to the tweet, which received over 100,000 likes and over 1,000 replies.

Rachell "Rae" Hofstetter, also known as  Valkyrae was born on January 8, 1992. She is a popular internet personality from the United States. Since 2020, she has been the most-watched female streamer on YouTube. Adweek awarded her "Gaming Creator of the Year," and gave her a Game Award.

Hofstetter is a co-owner of 100 Thieves, an esports and fashion company where she has worked as a content developer since 2018. Hofstetter is a proponent of women in online gaming, and she occasionally plays on all-female squads. She is one of the most popular streamers in the industry, with over 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube.

What is Valkyrae’s Next Streaming Platform?

The content producer is presently awaiting the announcement of her next streaming platform, which is expected to come on January 31, 2022. The date was revealed in a tweet she sent earlier this month, which raised a lot of suspicions.

Is Valkyrae Going Back to Twitch?

Valkyrae has denied that she will stop streaming, although she may devote more time to her esports team, 100 Thieves, and other endeavours. Valkyrae said: “I’m gonna be gone for a while because…erm…the announcement video isn’t ready,”

“I can’t really stream on said platform until the announcement video is posted,” she continued.

“I don’t know when it’s gonna be ready. I’m trying to get it out, the sooner the better, but it looks like it’s gonna take at least a couple of weeks” added Valkyrae.

Valkyrae has indicated at a major reveal on Twitter to commemorate two years of YouTube streaming. She tweeted: “Will do a short adios stream and talk about future plans,” she posted.

In a follow-up tweet she mentioned: “I’m sorry my main tweet seemed cryptic I just can’t stream until the next announcement vid is completed. I’m not quitting streaming I promise,”

Valkyrae's departure from YouTube would be surprising, given that she recently stated that the platform was the "only real option" for streaming artists. Many admirers have asked her to come back to Twitch, and their voices were amplified when she disclosed that her YouTube arrangement was about to expire. However, we'll have to wait and watch.
