Cross-progression in The Witcher 3 is similar to how the cross-saves work in Cyberpunk 2077. You can safeguard your recent autosave, manually save, and checkpoint saves in the GoG cloud from whichever platform you were most recently playing on. 1. Enable Cross-Progression
In the pause screen, unlock either the Load menu or Save. Tap the corresponding button (default is Left Trigger/L2). This will trigger you to log into your GoG account through a QR code.

If you have made this earlier while requesting your extra rewards from CDPR, then you can leave this step.
3. Cross-Save!
Your present saves won't auto-transfer, so make sure you perform a manual save or make it autosave. Your latest saves must have a cloud icon next to them, and those will be the ones that will shift over to the new platform.
4. How To Load A Cross-Save
After you enable the cross-saving, log into all the necessary platforms. Here you may automatically check your recent cross-save data present at the time you type the Load Game menu. Now, saving back into the cloud save slot will permit you to unlock that save on various platforms.
