Sunny Balwani is a convicted fraudster and businessman from America. He is also the former president and COO(Chief Operating Officer) of Theranos, which was a privatized health technology company. It was founded by Sunny's then-girlfriend Elizabeth Holmes. He was the second most significant person in the crumble of Theranos and its fraudulent claims to investors. They had framed a seditious blood test that used very little blood, such as that from a fingerstick. Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani is the actual name of Sunny Balwani.

On 7th July 2022, Sunny Balwani was found guilty on all counts and has seen up to 20 years in prison and money of million dollars in restitution. He got a sentence of 12 years and 11 months in prison, and three years of probation on 7th December 2022. He will start to serve his sentence no later than 15th March 2023.
