Jovit Baldivino was a singer and actor from the Philippines. Jovit was the first winner of the famous reality talent competition show Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010. Jovit Lasin Baldivino was the real name of Jovit Baldivino. After Jovit's success at Pilipinas Got Talent, he continued to release his albums. "Pusong Bato" and "Ikay' Mahal Pa Rin" are his famous songs. "Pusong Bato" was actually composed and performed by Renee dela Rosa and his band Alon. It was also included as part of the soundtrack for the ABS-CBN television series named Juan Dela Cruz. Jovit's other songs covered include "Faithfully" by Journey and "Too Much Love Will Kill You".

Jovit's father, Hilario, disclosed that Jovit died from stroke complications, as per sportskeeda. He also stated that though the family will not be able to recover from the loss anytime soon, they will always love him. Jovit passed away as a result of risks from a mild hemorrhagic stroke, according to his father.

On 3rd December 2022, Jovit was rushed to the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas City. This occurred after Jovit experienced breathing complications after performing a song during a Christmas party. He also suffered a mild hemorrhagic stroke and went into a comatose stage after an operation. He never got consciousness and eventually passed away because of a brain aneurysm on 9th December 2022; nearly after a week, he was admitted to the hospital.
