He started his television ministry in 1971 and it was originally known as “Camp Meeting Hour,” and he has a viewing audience in both American and internationally. The show broadcast throughout the US, in 78 channels and in 104 countries. He was at the height of his popularity in the 1980s. He is still alive and is now 87 years old.

He started evangelistical work in 1955 and he started developing a revival-meeting throughout the American South.
