A statement was released by the University of Florida Athletic Association when the news broke. They said that they have zero tolerance for the alleged behavior.

The statement read, "We are shocked and saddened to hear of the news involving Jalen Kitna. These are extremely serious charges, and the University of Florida and the [University Athletic Association] have zero tolerance for such behavior."
