Ja Morant is a professional Football player from America, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association. He also played Basketball for the Murray State Racers, in his College. He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in Round-1 pick:2. Later he became the NBA Rookie of the year in 2020. Morant had trained by his father, who taught him to jump shots and gave him tractor tires for him to practice jumping with a soft landing. In the last two seasons at Crestwood, he got an average of 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists per game, gaining South Carolina Class 3A All-State honors both years.

Morant was debuted for Murray State on 10th November 2017. He recorded his first career double-double on 12th December 2017 with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists in a 69-55 loss to Saint Louis. He posted his first triple-double on December 28, scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists in a win over Eastern Illinois. On 1st February 2018, he scored a season-high 23 points against the Southeast Missouri State. He has had the third-most assists in a single game by a Murray State player.
