He threw and disposed of those body parts in the forest area of Chhatarpur in Delhi in 2022. He left his studies halfway and began food blogging. He created a social media page named Hungrychokro Escapades. He began his business cooperating with his brother, who knew about photography. Aftab Amin Poonawalla was arrested for accusations of killing his lover, as per zeenews.india. He was arrested on 12th November 2022 and was sent to five-day police custody, which was further extended by five days on 17th November November. Later, he was sent to four more days of police custody. Then, the court sent Aftab to judicial custody for 13 days. Aftab Amin Poonawalla ostensibly strangled Shraddha Walker and sliced her body into 35 pieces. He kept her body in a 300-liter fridge for almost three weeks at his Mehrauli residence in South Delhi before he dumped them across the city over many days.
