IPL Winner 2008: Rajasthan Royals
The Rajasthan Royals, led by Shane Warne, captured the inaugural Indian Premier League. The Rajasthan Royals had a well-balanced squad in the first edition, with accomplished batsmen like Shane Watson and Graeme Smith, an explosive middle-order batsman like Yusuf Pathan, and deceptive bowlers like Sohail Tanvir.
IPL Winner 2009: Deccan Chargers
Deccan Chargers led by Adam Gilchrist won the Indian Premier League's second edition. Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Symonds, and young Rohit Sharma were among the team's top hitters. Pragyan Ojha's left-arm spin bowling was instrumental in the team's success, as he took 18 wickets in the tournament.

After losing out on the inaugural edition, MS Dhoni eventually lifted the trophy. CSK were heavy contenders for the title from the start of the tournament, with players like Suresh Raina, Mathew Hayden, Albie Morkel, Muralitharan, and Dhoni himself.
IPL Winner 2011: Chennai Super Kings
Chennai Super Kings become the first team of IPL to win back-to-back finals in history. The defending champions were up against the tournament's batting giants, RCB. The presence of Mr. Cricket, Michael Hussey, lit up CSK's batting unit, and he played some vital innings in the tournament. CSK defended their title thanks to Hussey and Murali Vijay's 159-run opening partnership against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
IPL Winner 2012: Kolkata Knight Riders
In the final, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Chennai Super Kings, the defending champions. With the KKR batsmen facing the daunting task of chasing 190 in the final, Bisla took on the burden of chasing and responded with a swashbuckling inning of 89 off 48 balls. CSK's run-fest, led by Suresh Raina's 73 from 38 balls, wasn't enough to prevent the Knights from lifting the title.

Mumbai Indians won their first IPL title under Rohit Sharma's leadership. MI achieved this by beating Chennai Super Kings in the 2013 IPL final. Throughout the tournament, the team was clinically balanced.

The Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL trophy for the second time. Manish Pandey scored wonderful innings and chased 199 to lift the trophy once again.

After CSK and KKR, Mumbai Indians became the third team to win the title more than once. The Mumbai Indians excellent performance once again helped them win the trophy for the second time.
IPL Winner 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad
The Sunrisers Hyderabad team beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final by just 8 runs. As captain, David Warner masterfully planned the team's journey during the season. Virat Kohli scored 4 centuries and 7 half-centuries and set a new record in the history of IPL.
IPL Winner 2017: Mumbai Indians
The Mumbai Indians became the first team in IPL history to win the title twice. The Mumbai Indians beat the Rising Pune Supergiants by one run in the final. Mumbai became the first team to win the trophy three times.
IPL Winner 2018: Chennai Super Kings
After a two-year ban, the veterans came back and became the second team to win more than two trophies of IPL. The whole team performed well during this season especially the bowling unit with getting pro-tips from the captain himself.

The IPL 2019 final featured a titanic battle once again. In the finals, the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings met once more. It came down to the last bowl in the final. Shardul Thakur failed to score an extra run with leaving Mumbai Indians the only team to lift the trophy four times.
