Intervention is an American TV series that focuses on participants who are addicts. The show premiered in March 2005 and has been running ever since. There are a total of 23 episodes in the show and 23rd one is airing as of writing this article. The show is filmed while the participants are awaiting an intervention meeting where they are encouraged to get help from family and friends. The loved ones give an ultimatum during the intervention program, the person either goes into inpatient care or risks losing contact with the loved one and other privileges.

Where Are The Cast Of Intervention Now?

Allison Fogarty

Allison Fogarty is from Season 4. Before she was addicted to drugs she was actually in medical school well on her way to becoming a doctor. She had to drop out of her program because of her addiction. She was unable to handle her classes and had very erratic behaviour. Allison was molested as a child and that left her traumatised for years to come and eventually drove her towards addiction. She also did not handle the divorce of her parents well either. She started inhaling compressed gas which is very harmful for one’s body. She has now overcome her addiction and has also completed school. She is a licensed psychologist who wants to help other addicts. 

Adam Lawson

Adam Lawson appeared in season 2 of the show. He had an addiction to heroin. When his girlfriend broke up with him he was severely depressed and turned to drugs to ease the pain and sadness. His mental and physical health deteriorated and he had to get care. He attended a one year rehab program that did not even allow cell phones. He got out of the programme early but is no longer an addict. He lives happily with his family now.

Vanessa Marquez

Vanessa Marquez, known for her appearance in the show ER appeared in season 1 of the show. She had also had a successful career before coming on the show. She had a shopping addiction that was driving her towards bankruptcy. She also had depression and bipolar disorder. She was asked to seek help and later admitted that it did not do her any good. In 2018, the police were called to do a welfare check on her and found her place a mess. She confronted the police and advanced towards them with a gun. She was shot and rushed to a hospital but unfortunately she did not make it,

Travis Meeks

Travis Meeks was the lead singer of the band Days of New. The band was very popular and toured with the likes of Metallica and Jerry cantrell. Travis got hooked on crystal meth. He appeared on season one of the show and agrees to go to rehab. He tries but quits rehab in just 73 days. He has tried many times since then to quit but failed. He tried to restart his band and that did not work out because of his drug addiction.

Skyler Russell

Skylar Russel appeared in season 11 of the show. His mother wanted him to be an actor and a model so she started forcing him into auditions from a very young age. He could not handle the pressure and turned to substance abuse. He was addicted to bath salts which are very harmful if consumed. He was able to beat his addiction through help from the show. She even started a family with his girlfriend and lived a very happy life. Unfortunately in 2020 he was found unconscious and rushed to a hospital. He passed away the same year.

Robby Pardlo

Robby Pardlo is a singer who formed his own group and was even nominated for a grammy award. His mother was the driving force behind his success and pushed him more and more. Eventually unable to handle the pressure, he turned to alcohol. He lost friends and even the success he initially had. He has managed to beat his addiction and is now a very happy family man.

Troopers said Karissa Hilts, 29, was a passenger in a black Toyota around 7:30 p.m. March 8 when she dropped her phone out of the window.
