For deserving students undertaking bachelor’s and master’s courses in Natural and Basic Sciences, INSPIRE Scholarship offers 10,000 scholarships once a year. Under the scholarship, each candidate receives INR 80,000 annually for pursuing any subject of Natural or Basic Sciences.

Inspire scholarship 2021 Eligibility

The candidates must have passed class 12 in 2021 (only) and pursuing courses in Natural Sciences at the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. level. Given below is that detailed information about the eligibility criteria of this Scholarship.
1. The applicant should be within the age group of 17-22 years.
2. The candidate must be among the highest 1% of the successful students in terms of aggregate marks in his/her class 12 board exam.
3. The applicant must be enrolled in courses of Natural and Basic Sciences at the BSc, BS, and Integrated MSc/MS level within the same year of passing class 12.
4. The applicants who are among the highest 10,000 rankers in the Joint exam of IIT, AIEEE (top 20,000 rankers) & cleared CBSE-Medical (AIPTM) and have opted to check Natural/Basic Sciences are eligible.
5. The candidates who are admitted to Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Department of energy Centre for Basic Sciences (DAE-CBS) at the University of Mumbai for pursuing courses in
6. Natural/Basic Sciences resulting in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree are eligible.
7. The applicants who are KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), Olympiad Medallists and 8. Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholar and are pursuing courses in Natural/Basic Sciences resulting in B.Sc., and M.Sc. degree is eligible.

Inspire scholarship 2021 Application Forms

The applications for INSPIRE Scholarship for educational activity (SHE) are accepted online through the web portal of the INSPIRE Programme. Given below is that the complete guideline on the way to apply for the Scholarship.

Step 1: First, the applicant must register as a brand new user on the INSPIRE scholarship portal. Click here to go to the official portal. Click on ‘New User? Register here‘. The candidate must enter his/her name, gender, date of birth, email, password, eligibility criteria and verification code for successful registration.
Step 2: The candidate receives user ID and password on their registered email ID where he/she must click on the activation link to activate his/her account.
Step 3: The candidate must keep the scanned copies of all the specified documents as separate files before filling the applying form.
Step 4: The candidate must log in to the INSPIRE scholarship portal with his/her username and password.
Step 5: Now, the candidate must fill the main points like personal particulars, enrolment information at B.Sc. and Integrated M.Sc. level, senior secondary performance information, national level competitive exam details, contact details and other details within the scholarship form altogether.
Step 6: Also, the applicant must upload all the specified documents in support of the web scholarship application.
Step 7: The applicant must review the entered details before the submission of the shape by pressing on the ‘Print Preview’ button. He/She must ensure that every one the details and uploaded documents are correct.
Step 8: Now, the applicant must click on the ‘Submit’ button to use.
Step 9: After the ultimate submission of the web scholarship form, the candidate must take the print out of the submitted application for his/her record.

Inspire scholarship 2021 Renewal

For the continuation of SHE scholarship within the subsequent years, INSPIRE scholars have to fulfil the standards mentioned below.
The students applying for renewal have to score a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 GPA on a ten.0-point scale within the annual examinations every year (or 2 semesters). If the candidate fails to secure the desired marks in his/her B.Sc/BS/Int. M.Sc/Int. MS exam, the Scholarship for that year are cancelled. The Scholarship is resumed within the next school year if the student’s academic performance is satisfactory.

When candidates are applying for the Scholarship for Higher Education(SHE), they have to submit some necessary documents in support of their application, the absence of which away result in their refusal.
