The most extended break takes place in mid-May for Ascension Day then Eid Al-Fitr. Originally the holiday was meant to be observed from May 10th – 17th, but it has been adjusted to May 12th – 19th. While, for Christmas, there is an additional joint leave that can be celebrated on December 27th to compensate for Christmas Day that will be falling on a Saturday. People will enjoy six long memorable weekends in 2021. Note the run of Tuesday holidays in the second half of the year, which can be benefitted with vacation days to create quite extra-long breaks.
