The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has released the cut off marks for 2021/2022. The cutoff marks is the official benchmark score set by the university to get admission in any course. This cut-off mark is decided by the management of each faculty after the conclusion of the institution’s POST UTM Examination.

To register for the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education POST UTME, students must score at least 160 in the JAMB examination. The IAUE Cut Off Mark for 2021/2022 academic session is 160. It also includes those who may not have chosen the university but are interested in studying at the institution and candidates with visual, hearing and speech impairment who scored 100 and above.

Candidates should note that not all schools release the cut-off marks to process admission after the conclusion of the Post UTME examination or screening. Candidates who secure the IAUE Cut Off Mark can proceed with the internal screening procedure by the university. Candidates need to carry all the required documents along with four copies of recent passport size photographs.
How To Calculate IAUE Aggregate/Screening Score?

Students who have participated in the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Post Utme / Screening can calculate their aggregate scores by following the steps.
Divide your JAMB score by 8
Divide your post UTME score by 2
Now add both of them together
For example; Your score is 300 in JAMB and 80 in post UTME that means;
300/8 = 37.5
80/2 = 40
i.e 37.5 + 40 = 77.5
Note that some institutions post only UTME result to admit candidates and some use O’level and Jamb result to determine student screening result.
IAUE Nature of Admission Screening
The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education holds the admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and usually comes in two phases. Students who have applied to study in the school must proceed with the pre-screening exercise once it is announced. Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are the SSCE result and JAMB registration printout. Candidates will be screened based on JAMB scores and their SSCE results. The second phase of the screening takes place after the admission lists is released. Candidates who have secured admission will be invited for another screening exercise. The documents required are:
Original copies of educational qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
N/B: Cases of awaiting results will NOT be accepted.
Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
A letter of good conduct from Village Head or community/or civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector.
Certificate of Local Government of origin.
