According to the report from Whav Net, it has been reported that the public of the region of the southbound side of I-495 in Andover was shocked to hear the news saying a fatal crash caused a significant delay on I-495 on Thursday morning that a commercial truck driver was dead in a crash during this morning’s commuting hours on Interstate 495 in Andover.

What Happened On Interstate 495?
According to the report from Whav Net, it has been reported that Massachusetts State Police troopers were dispatched at about 7 a.m. to an accidental area on the southbound side of I-495 in Andover and confirmed that there were two commercial trucks involved in the collision. Troopers from the State Police-Andover Barracks report a waste services company truck carrying a roll-off dumpster was stopped in traffic in the right travel lane, waiting to exit onto the ramp to I-93. At the eventual time, a box truck came from behind and struck the back of the truck carrying the dumpster. The unidentified driver was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was found dead. State Police said his name, age, and hometown was withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

Graham Waste Services of Brockton own the truck carrying the dumpster. The two right travel lanes at the crash site were closed for nearly an hour. The deceleration lane leading to the exit was closed until 9:35 a.m. The case is under investigation by Troop A of the Massachusetts State Police, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section.
