Voice App Finalists
Team Legend: John Holiday
The Appleton, Wisconsin resident is a fan favourite this year. The 35-year-old crooner immediately stunned at coach John with an impressive range while taking on to Ella Fitzgerald's "Misty" for his audition. In the battle round, he had beat Julia Cooper singing Stevie Wonder's "Summer Soft." Two weeks back, the smooth and relaxed performance of "Fly Me to the Moon" won over voters and landed him in the top nine. Currently, he's earned himself a spot in finale.
Team Gwen: Carter Rubin
He might be the youngest competitor this season (he's only 15 years old!), but Carter is not the underdog. Both John and Gwen had to battle during blind auditions to get him to join the team. Later, after Carter picked Gwen as his coach, the No Doubt leading lady held Shoreham, New York native throughout the battle and knockout rounds, when it was America's turn to decide Carter's fate, voters put him in the top nine after he nailed Mariah Carey's "Hero" in the ultimate 17 showdowns. His stunning "Rainbow Connection" rendition the next week took him one step further, and now he's in the finale.
Team Kelly: Dez
The 30-year-old LA-based artist is making some waves in season 19. Desz impressed all coaches with her powerful performance of Toni Braxton's "Un-break My Heart" in blind auditions round. She, then beat out on Joseph Soul singing "If You Don't Know Me by Now", Sid Kingsley with her take on "Can We Talk" to earn a spot in the top 17. Next, Desz won over America with unique rendition of Tina Turner's classic "What's Love Got to Do With It." To make it to finale, Desz pulled out a show-stopping performance about En Vogue's "Don't Let Go."
Team Blake: Jim Ranger
Blake knew right off the bat, which he was meant to work along with Jim after hearing him sing Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color." And, the 38-year-old vocalist continued to win knockout and battle rounds singing country classics like the Tim McGraw's "Humble" and Kane Brown's "Good as You." When it came on choosing the top nine, Blake selected Jim to represent his team in finals after loving his soulful take on the Lee Brice's country tune "Rumor." Now, Jim would represent Team Blake for the finale.
Team Blake: Ian Flanigan
Ian made taking on Zac Brown Band's "Colder Weather" look simple in the blind auditions round. Later, he continued to soar with his heartfelt rendition of the Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and later earned Blake's vote in the knockouts. It turns out; he ended up being one of America's favourites, too. In the live shows, he was chosen by voters to advance after singing Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love." Later, intense semifinals round, America gave Ian the most instant save votes, putting him through to the season 19
