The PhonePe app runs on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) where the user is asked to self create or set a four or six-digit pin.
This pin authenticates all the cash transactions appearing in the bank account of the user.

How to Set BHIM UPIN PIN In PhonePe?

Step 1- Install the PhonePe app and open the PhonePe app using the password given by you.

Step 2 - Open the Menu. The screen will show contact, bank account, bank balance icon

Step 3 - Tap on the Bank accounts section. All the bank accounts linked to your phone number will appear

Step 4 - Choose the bank account against which you will set the UPI Pin. UPI Pin Set option icon can be viewed if you are a first time user. You can key in the digits which can be easily remembered by you.

Step 5 - If you have forgotten the pin, you need to follow the same procedure and after choosing the Bank account, the Reset pin option will appear. Tap the Reset pin option and key in the digits of your choice.

Step 6 - Finally the app will ask once again ask to key in the last six digits and expiry date of the Debit card issued by the bank selected by you.

Step 7 - You will receive an OTP verification via SMS from the bank on your phone to authenticate to the pin number. Key in the OTP number in the given box and submit.

On successful submission, the new UPI Pin can be used for all payment and money transfer made through the Phone pe app.

How To Reset UPI PIN Without Debit Card?

Finally, there's a trick to reset your UPI PIN without a debit card. We cannot guarantee that this trick will work but you can try.
First up, you have to acquire a debit card once for setting up. Once you acquire a debit card, you can use it for setting a new UPI PIN.
Once you established the UPI PIN, you can right away block the acquired Debit card.
You can easily block your Debit Card online or by contacting the Bank customer care.
Your bank will not impose any charges for blocking your debit card.
This banking method can also be imposed if you are evading the debit card for your own security reasons.
Set the PhonePe UPI Pin and block the debit card forever.
Note, you should constantly remember the PhonePe UPI Pin. Because if you forget the PhonePe UPI Pin, a debit card would then again be necessary to reset the PhonePe UPI Pin.
However, you can reset your PhonePe, UPI Pin, by using the existing PhonePe UPI Pin. It will not prompt you for the debit card details.
