Dreamhack is the most competitive event of Fortnite that takes place every month, where players of all levels can sign up to participate in the event to win prizes and rewards. Each month a brand new DreamHack tournament is organised by Fortnite with a prize pool of $250,000. The Dreamhack Open Ft. Fortnite and the Cash Cup Extra Ft. The DreamHack Open Duos tournament and the Cash Cup tournament will only be available in the NA East and Europe regions. The DreamHack Open Duos tournament will be held on Duos and will be open to players from North America, the East, and Europe. Given below are the steps on how to register for Dreamhack Open tournament:
Log in to Fortnite.
In the Battle Royale lobby, click on the Compete tab at the top of the screen.
Find the card that "DreamHack Online Open".
Click on the card.
Click Register.
In the Cash Cup Extra Ft. Fortnite, the top 132 teams from the current Cash Cup of the respective week will automatically be allowed for the Cash Cup Extra. The Cash Cup tournament will have a Trios mode, and a maximum of ten games will be played in 3 hours.

Though the Fortnite DreamHack 2021 will only be hosted on EU and NA East servers, gamers from other countries and regions can also participate in the event. The Dreamhack open will use a Duos format in which the prize money will be split among participants.
