As of September 2022, the app had 433 million monthly active subscribers worldwide, including 188 million paid premium members, as the network was one of the biggest music streaming service platforms. How To Find New Music On Spotify?
Spotify Radio Station Playlists:
Follow the playlist to save it to your radio library and personalize it by liking or disliking tracks. Go to Radio and click Create New Station on the desktop. Enter a track, artist, or playlist, and Spotify will make a station out of it. To save the station in Your Library, go to Stations and select Follow. Unfollowing the station will result in its removal.
Select Radio, then New Station, in the upper right corner of the app. Search for a song, artist, or playlist, and select the song, to begin with. Tap Follow on the Station page to save it to Your Library under Stations.
Weekly Discover:
Discover Weekly can be found in Your Library (Your Music on web player) under Playlists on desktop or web player. For free users, it's in Home under Made for You. It's in Your Library under Playlists for Premium subscribers or in Browse under Discover.
The playlist is default private, but you can change it to the public, share it with friends, and follow other users' Discover Weekly playlists. And what about those private sessions? They do not affect your Discover Weekly, so a little out-of-character listening won't throw your recommendations off.
The Daily Mix:
Liking a track (3) adds it to your Songs collection while disliking a track (X) removes it from your mix. Your mixes improve as your musical tastes evolve, so the more you listen, the better they get. It does not entirely refresh like Discover Weekly but evolves with your listening. Each mix is updated with new songs within a day of your last listening, so save your favorites. If you're using a desktop, look for your Daily Mix in Your Library (Your Music on the web player). Look in Home under Made for You for free users and in Your Library if you have Premium.
Launch Radar:
Like most playlists, the more you listen, the better it gets, and liking or disliking tracks steers the playlist and helps tailor future recommendations. When listening on a desktop (Home on the web player), look for your Release Radar in Browse or Home under Made for You on mobile.
Spotify lets you listen to new songs and current favorites mixed in with some discovery. You can also look to our playlists like RapCaviar and Viva Latino! for inspiration on what to listen to. In any case, Spotify makes it simple to discover new music. Remember that everything refreshes, so permanently save your favorites.
