How To Set UPI Pin In PhonePe?
Follow the below-given steps to set UPI Pin in PhonePe.
Tap on the ☰ icon present at the top right corner of the screen and open the menu
Click the “Bank accounts” option to open all the accounts of your bank linked with PhonePe.
Choose the bank account for which you want to set a UPI Pin. There will be a "SET" option on the screen if you don’t have a UPI Pin for the bank account.
Now the user can enter the Last six digits along with the Expiry date of your Debit/ATM card. If there is no expiry date available for your card then you can enter "00/49"
Then you will receive an OTP from your bank. You can then enter the OTP received and the new UPI Pin that you wish to set. Click submit lastly.
You have now successfully set a UPI Pin for your bank account as your wish. You can now initiate transferring money through PhonePe.
How to Change PhonePe UPI Pin?
The function of the UPI PIN is similar to ATM PIN. The user is required to enter the UPI PIN for making payment through a UPI App like Phonepe. Open the Phonepe app on your mobile
Tap on the home icon on the top left of the screen
Press on the ‘Bank account’ section. You’ll see all of the linked bank accounts.
Select the bank for which you want to reset UPI. Now you’ll see the reset UPI option
Tap on ‘Reset BHIM UPI PIN’
A pop-up will appear where you have to enter the Last six digits and Expiry date of your Debit/ATM card.
After entering, click on ‘Continue.’
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and enter it.
Now a new popup will appear where you have to enter the new UPI PIN. Enter a new PIN and Press OK.
Done! Your new UPI pin is set on the Phonepe app!
