What Does Bump Message mean?
Bump, Messenger's new feature, is similar to Chat Reply. However, this feature differs slightly from replying. For example, assume you're having a conversation with someone. You bombarded the person with questions.
In this manner, you can send multiple questions at once and receive responses from there. In this case, you can bump the message that contains the answer to your question. By bumping an already sent message, the person receiving it will receive the entire message sent by you again. Before the release of the bump feature, if you missed a question, you had to reply to the message and send something on your own. The entire previous message can now be sent again by bumping the message.

History of Messenger
Meta Platforms created Messenger as a proprietary platform and instant messaging application. Originally launched in 2008 as Facebook Chat, the service was redesigned in 2010. Standalone iOS and Android apps were made available in 2011, and standalone Facebook portal hardware for Messenger calls was made available in 2018. So did. In April 2015, Facebook launched Messenger.com. This dedicated website interface separates the messaging functionality from the main Facebook app and allows users to use the web interface or download one of the standalone apps. Facebook Messenger, a desktop app for Windows and macOS, will be available in April 2020.
Features of Messenger
Messenger Rooms: Messenger's video conferencing feature. Users can add up to 50 people at a time. A Facebook account is not required to use Messenger Rooms. Messenger Rooms competes with services like Zoom.
Back in 2014, Facebook launched an unrelated, standalone application called Rooms, which allowed users to create spaces for users with similar interests while remaining anonymous to others. This was decommissioned in December 2015.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, Facebook revealed Messenger Rooms and video conferencing features for Messenger. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, this was a response to the popularity of other video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Skype.
Messenger Rooms allows users to add up to 50 people per room at any time. It does not necessitate a Facebook account or a separate Messenger app. When used, it only asks for basic information from the user. Users can share screens and add 360° virtual backgrounds, mood lighting, and other AR effects. In addition, users can lock rooms and remove participants to prevent unwanted participants from joining.
Some users have expressed concerns about Messenger Room's privacy and how its parent company, Facebook, handles data. For example, Messenger Rooms does not use end-to-end encryption, unlike some competitors. Furthermore, questions have been raised about how Messenger Rooms collects user data.
