Launched in July 2017, JioPhone runs on KAI OS HTML5-based Firefox OS OS. This user-friendly and affordable phone comes with 4G support and is available only in Black colour. It provides a host of connectivity options in 3G, 4G, Wifi, and NFC Bluetooth capabilities. The Phone has a 4GB of internal storage and is powered by 1.2GHz Dual-Core core SPRD 9820A/QC8905 Processor. A 512MB of RAM ensures that the phone runs smoothly and the 4GB of internal storage can be expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card. The Phone comes with a 2000 mAh battery to support its 2.4-inch screen with a QVGA display resolution of 240 x 320 at 167 PPI.
It has a 2 megapixel rear Camera and 0.3 megapixels front Camera. The Feature Phone with 4G support has a low camera aperture of 2.8.

How to block a number in JIO PHONE?

There are two ways, now the first one is:

Blocking Procedure: Add the contact number to the blocklist

Switch on the Jio Mobile phone data so that it gets activated

- First, look out for the Menu icons on the mobile screen and press the same

- The screen will appear with so many menu icons, select the jio chat menu icon and tap the icon to open it.

- After opening jio chat your contact list can be seen

- Now select “Option” icon which is located on the right side bottom of your mobile phone’s screen

- Two options will be visible like “New Group” and “Setting”

- Select “Setting” Option

- Multiple options like “Profile”, “Chat Setting“ “Language” “Security and Privacy” and “Clear all chat history” will appear on the screen

- Select the “Security and Privacy” option.

- Now you will be able to see “add” option in the left side bottom of your mobile screen.

- Just select or add the contact you would like to block.

- Press OK.

- The blocked Contact number will appear in the block list.

Now you have blocked a contact successfully on your JIOPHONE.

Just for your information, if you are having a second thought about unblocking the contact, just follow the same procedure and remove the contact number from the blocked list.

Secondary Way to Block a number in Jio Phone

- You will be able to see Jio Security App on your home screen just tap on it.

- Swipe the screen to view the Device screen.

- Select “Call Blocking”

- Select “Block all unknown callers” if you want all calls and messages to be blocked from unknown numbers

- If a particular contact needs to be blocked, look out for a symbol “+” in the bottom right corner of the mobile screen just tap on the symbol.

- Now select particular contact number from call logs or contact list to be blocked

- Tap “OK” to block the contact.

To unblock contact from block list.

- Look out for Jio Security App on the home screen of your device and just tap on it.

- Swipe the screen to view the Device screen.

- Select “Call Blocking”

- On the block list, tap on the contact that you wish to remove
