• As, the telecom operators implemented the compulsory minimum recharge for the prepaid users, like other users as well, Vodafone Idea users are also not able to make outgoing and incoming calls.

• A long time ago, it was reported that Vodafone Idea and Airtel is going to implement compulsory minimum recharge for all its users.

• The users who failed to do the recharge on time will be blocked from making an outgoing call initially.

• Then after the grace period, the number will get blocked from incoming calls too.

• Similarly, Vodafone and Airtel Users are also getting the same. And finally, all the operators turned to a unified strategy which forces customers to do a monthly recharge to keep their number active to make and receive calls.

• Suppose you want to keep the number busy with the minimum recharge pack and recharge for INR 46.

• It is the lowest available recharge pack, INR 46 Pack that offers a validity of 28 days, 100 minutes of the on-net night calling between 11 pm to 6 am 100MB data.

• Incoming calls will be free, while the outgoing call rate is 2.5 Paisa per second. It requires additional Talktime. For the Talktime plan, Plan 49 is available, which offers a Talktime balance of INR 38, 100MB data, and the call charge will be charged 2.5 paise per second.

How to Activate Incoming Calls in Idea?

If you have poor signal reception, try shifting locations, preferably somewhere more open and with less surrounding obstacles such as concrete walls. If your LTE is turned ON, your phone should automatically change to 3G or 2G when trying to make an outgoing call or when receiving an incoming call. If your device fails to shift to 3G or 2G automatically, go to your phone's mobile network settings and manually select 3G or 2G.

1. Refresh your handset by turning it OFF and then back ON.
2. Check your phone's call settings and disable the fixed dialing setting.
3. Disable call barring setting.
4. Check your Caller ID setting and make sure it is set to Show/Enabled.
5. If you are not able to receive calls from a specific mobile number only, check if your phone has a blocklist or block status feature. If the mobile number calling you is in that block list, remove them from the list or disable the feature.
