The HBO series Euphoria, created and written by Sam Levinson, is an adolescent drama set in the United States. It is loosely based on the Israeli television drama of the same name by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. Gia From Euphoria
As Rue's (Zendaya) younger sister, Gia (Storm Reid) is one of the youngest recurrent Euphoria characters, albeit her role is less prominent because her scenes largely take place at Rue's house. To begin Euphoria's story, Gia was the one who discovered Rue overdosing at home the summer before Rue's junior year, and Gia quickly called 911.
Gia is one of Euphoria's most sympathetic characters, especially in the devastating Episode 2 episode 5 plot, after losing her father to cancer and suffering from her sister's difficult drug addiction.
