How Is Rhaenyra Targaryen Related To Daenerys?
Rhaenrya and Daenerys appear to be the same person, with the ability to shape the world into a better place (as long as they don't end up burning down an entire city). Daenerys had once said she wanted to "break the wheel," and Rhaenrya says she wants to "establish a new world order" in House of the Dragon. After all, she is Daenerys' sixth great-grandmother. But, of course, it's a little more complicated than that because the Targaryens are known for something other than riding dragons. Yep, it's incest! We know you were thinking that. Siblings, cousins, uncles, or nieces marrying and having children together was not uncommon hundreds of years ago, as it was for the Spanish kings of the Habsburg dynasty throughout the 16th and 17th centuries. It's the same in Game of Thrones, and the Targaryens are obsessed with it.
How Old Is Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen?
George R. R. Martin's fictional world is divided into two timelines. AC denotes the period following Aegon's Conquest, while BC denotes the period preceding that. House of the Dragon's screenplay is set in the post-apocalyptic future.
However, similar to Game of Thrones, the writers and directors of House of the Dragon have made numerous changes to the original plot line. For example, did you know that Rhaenyra Targaryen was nine years younger than Alicent Hightower?
Rhaenyra Targaryen is 15 years old in episode 2, but later episodes show her as a 17-year-old woman 'of age' and ready to marry. She was born in 97 AC and would have been nine years old when her father married Alicent. Milly Alcock is 22 years old in real life.

Who Killed Rhaenyra Targaryen?
House of the Dragon takes Game of Thrones fans on a brand-new journey through Westeros, but only if you haven't read the books on which it is based. For those who have already devoured George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood, every death and betrayal was foreshadowed long before this prequel arrived on our screens. Unfortunately, even if you haven't read the source material, House of the Dragon has been ruined for Game of Thrones fans who were paying attention in season three.
The episode in question, episode four, includes a scene in which the lovable monarch Joffrey Lannister strolls the Sept with his betrothed, Margaery Tyrell. Joffrey stops at one point during their walk to show her the final resting place of Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is now long dead.
"Rhaenyra Targaryen was murdered by her brother, or rather his dragon," says Joffrey. "It ate her while her son watched. What's left of her is buried in the crypts right down there."
Who Does Rhaenyra Targaryen Have A Child With?
Since Episode 3 of House of the Dragon, the father of Rhaenyra Targaryen's three sons has been quietly fuming in our midst. But, we're sorry to break it to the Criston-and-Rhaenyra fans; that ship has long since sailed past the Narrow Sea. By the time House of the Dragon Episode 6 begins, a decade or so would have passed since the gruesome aftermath of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon's wedding. While some actors will be replaced by older versions of themselves (Milly Alcock for Emma D'Arcy and Theo Nate for John MacMillan, for example), the actor who plays Princess Rhaenyra's actual father will remain the same.
HBO made the big reveal in the Episode 6 teaser. "A father, compromised by his son's actions..." a voice says in the clip, which shows Lyonel Strong of Harrenhal (Gavin Spokes), Master of Laws on King Viserys I Targaryen's small council (Paddy Considine), and then the face of his son, Ser Harwin Strong (Ryan Corr). If that wasn't enough, we see Harwin beating up Rhaenyra's ex, Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel), followed by shots of Rhaenyra's children. (It's worth noting that none of them, unlike Rhaenyra and her husband, have blonde hair.) Furthermore, we are shown a scene in which Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) complains that Rhaenyra's three illegitimate sons mock the Iron Throne.

They have two daughters. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra marries Laena's brother, Laenor Velaryon, and they have several kids. Laena and Laenor end up dying in the same year, giving Daemon and Rhaenyra the opportunity to waste no time and get married themselves.
Laenor has a sexual relationship with Ser Joffrey Lonmouth (Solly McLeod) and Rhaenyra continues her relationship with Criston. Rhaenyra and Laenor have three sons during their marriage: Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, Prince Lucerys Velaryon and Prince Joffrey Velaryon.
Daemon was at least loyal to Rhaenyra. Daemon took several mistresses, even though he had three wives in Rhea Royce, Laena Velaryon and Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Soon after being widowed, Daemon and Rhaenyra marry each other in secret when he is 39 years old, and she is 23. Their marriage causes a huge scandal at court and another rift between Daemon and Viserys, but it is eventually accepted.
After conquering all but two of the islands, Daemon declared himself King of the Stepstones and the Narrow Sea in 109 AC, being crowned by Corlys the Sea Snake.
