Hell’s Kitchen 

Hell’s Kitchen is an American reality television cooking show hosted by chef Gordon Ramsay. The show was premiered in the year 2005 on FOX. the show offers the winners a position at a restaurant as head chef. The show is shot inside a studio set up of a restaurant. From a batch of 20 participants, the show reduces to 12 then to a single winner by eliminating a single contestant each episode. The has crossed 19 seasons and has stepped into season 20 earlier this May 2021. The first 18 seasons were shot in Los Angeles, while in 2019 Fox renewed its 19th and 20th season which was shot in Las Vegas. Season 19 was aired in 2021 from January till April. While season 20 was aired in 2021 from May till September.

With Hell’s Kitchen season 20 coming to end this September, it leaves us wondering about the previous contestants who had won the titles of the first 19 seasons. Hell’s kitchen where are they now? What are they upto? So we did our research and below is the list of all the contestants who have won hell’s kitchen from season 1 to season 19 and their current status.  

• Season 1: Michael Wray

Michael was 27 years old when he first won the season 1’s title of Hell’s Kitchen in 2005. He initially worked with Ramsay being the winner, In London. But later he declined the offer of becoming the head chef at the exclusive hotel in Los Angeles. And moved to Arizona. He ran a knife company called ‘skull and cleavers’ and also taught cooking. He recently overcame his pill addiction and has plans to run a food truck business. 

• Season 2: Heather West

Heather was 25 years old when she won the title of Hell’s kitchen’s season 2 in 2006. Being the winner, she chose to work as a head chef at Terra Rossa restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. She then shifted to Long Island working as head chef at three restaurants called Monteray, Jellyfish, and Schafers in her hometown. At present, she also runs a non-profit east end play dates. 

• Season 3: Rahman ‘Rock’ Harper

Rahman was 30 years old when we won the third season of hell’s kitchen in the year 2007. Being the winner, he decided to work at Terra Verde restaurant in Nevada for over a year. He then later shifted to Ben’s next door and worked as an executive chef.  He then went on to teach at Stanford and has become famous for his bestseller “44 Things parents should know about healthy cooking for kids”. At present, he owns queen mother’s in Arlington VA.  

• Season 4: Christina Machamer

Christina Machamer was 25 years old when she won the fourth season of Hell’s kitchen in 2008. As she was only a student at that time, she got the post of senior chef instead of the executive. She worked for over a decade in California at London in west Hollywood and at Bouchon Bistro. Later she went on to work at B Cellars Vineyards & winery. She also worked in Napa before opening Napa Valley experiences. 

• Season 5: Danny Veltri

Danny was only 23 years old when he had won Hell’s kitchen season 5 in 2009. Similar to season 4’s winner Machamer, Danny was given the position of Sous Chef in the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Later he began his own company salt life food shack, which now has 3 locations in Florida. Before that, he also worked at Gnarly surf bar & Grill in the sunshine state.  

• Season 6: Dave Levey

Dave Levey was 32 years old when he won season six of Hell’s kitchen in 2009. After winning he at Araxi Restaurant in Whistler in British Columbia for several months. Later, he has worked at restaurants in his hometown of New Jersey. 

•  Season 7: Holli Ugalde

Holli Ugalde was 24 years old when she won season 7 of Hell’s kitchen in 2010. She moved from London’s Savoy Grill to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and became Executive chef at B ocean. At present, she runs the SENS wellness, a lifestyle program, and markets products from her farm.

• Season 8: Nona Sivley

Nona Sivley won season 8 of Hell’s kitchen in 2010. She got the spot of head chef position at the LA market in Los Angeles, California for 3 years. She then later opened her own restaurant called Pork and Beans in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also Launched a catering company called fizzy peach and a grocery store in Norcross.

• Season 9: Paul Niedermann

Paul was 27 years when he won the ninth season of Hell’s Kitchen in 2011. He worked for BLT group in new york and later return to Sunshine State working at Hudson at waterway east and SALT7 in Delray Beach, Florida. 

• Season 10: Christina Wilson

Christina Wilson was 32 years when she won the Hell’s kitchen season in 2012. She worked as head chef at Ramsay’s steak in Paris Casino. Later she moved to the position of an executive at Ramsay’s BurGR before becoming a culinary director for Gordon  Ramsay north America. 

• Season 11: Ja’Nel Witt

Witt was 31 years old when she won the 11th season of Hell’s kitchen in 2013. Initially, she worked at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Las Vegas, Nevada. When it became impossible for her to continue there, she returned to Texas to work in the position of Executive Chef at Corner Table in Houston and at Sammy’s Steakhouse in Richmond. 

• Season 12: Scott Commings

Scott was 36 years old when he bagged the title of hell’s kitchen season 12 in 2014. He worked as head chef at Ramsay’s Pub & Grill in Las Vegas, Nevada. He later became executive chef at Freedom Beat at Downtown Grand hotel in Sin City. 

• Season 13: La Tasha Mccutchen

Tasha won the thirteenth season of Hell’s Kitchen in 2014 when she was 33 years old. She worked as head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill in Atlantic city in new Jersey. At present, she is a private chef. 

• Season 14: Meghan Gill

Meghan Gill was 28 years old when she bagged the title of Hell’s Kitchen for season 14 in 2015. She worked as head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and later became executive chef for The Dormie Network of golf clubs. 

• Season 15: Ariel Malone

Ariel was 26 years old when she won season 15th of hell’s kitchen in 2016. She worked as head chef at BLT Steak In Las Vegas, Nevada until 2017. At present Ariel is pursuing a private chef. 

• Season 16: Kimberly-Ann Ryan

Kimberly was 29 years old when she won season sixteen of Hell’s Kitchen in 2017. She worked as head chef at yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Las Vegas in Nevada. She later returned to her hometown to Run the Cook’s House. 

• Season 17: Michelle Tribble

Michelle Tribble was 24 years old when she was won season 17 of Hell’s kitchen in 2018. She worked as the head chef at caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada and laid off due to covid. 

• Season 18: Ariel Contreras-Fox

Ariel was 35 when she won season 18 of Hell’s Kitchen in 2019. She worked as executive chef at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Las Vegas. Later returned home to work for Del Frisco restaurant and also took part as a judge on Beat Bobby Flay. 

• Season 19: Kori Sutton

This Los Angeles native was 37 when she won season 19 on April 22, 2021. She is working as head chef at Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant in Lake Tahoe.
