Google Stadia: Google Stadia now works on Android Phones, Google Stadia Games and Features

Google Stadia on Android Phones:

Google's cloud gaming aspirations with Stadia were off to a rough start, mainly because of its country and platform constraints. Google now offers experimental support for more smartphones, which means you 're good to go as long as your phone can download the Stadia app. Additionally, Google Stadia now officially supports eight more OnePlus phones that encompass the entire lineup from the OnePlus 5 all the way to the 8 Pro.

How to Get Started on Google Stadia?

You will need a Google account first because your Stadia will be connected to your Gmail address. It will also ask you if you're signing up with a Buddy or Pro Pass, or if you've got a bundle of Stadia controllers presumably that would speed up the process, but I don't have either, so we're going out. You will also agree, as usual, to the Terms of Service.

Then, you opt for an avatar. There are plenty to choose from, even if some of them are a little generic don't expect any popular game heroes to be seen as choices. Then pick a name. Only letters and numbers can be used, and can only be up to 15 characters long. You then customize your privacy settings. You can also register for email alerts if you want to do so.

Now you can continue with whatever games Stadia has to offer. If you sign up for the Pro trial, there will be some games available for free and the site will encourage you to try those games out.

If you wish to cancel your Pro subscription, go to the Stadia settings (these are in the top-right drop-down menu on Chrome). You can find it under "Purchases & Subscriptions." From here, you can also control which output option you want to use, bump it down to 1080p, or 720p if you need to save any bandwidth or bump it up to 4 K if you have Pro.

What are the Features of Google Stadia?

The new feature for Stadia gamers is on-screen touch controls that allow you to play without the need for a physical controller. The new function in the Settings menu is accessible through the new "touch gamepad" option. Google also rolls out an independent resolution control, allowing you to set the Stadia resolution output manually on each device you play.

Google Stadia is still available only in 14 countries, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, and Sweden. Google is still committed to expanding the Stadia presence as quickly as possible to more devices and regions.

At What quality can Google Stadia stream content?

Stadia can stream the supported games for Stadia Pro subscribers up to 4 K HDR and 60 FPS quality. 4 K is currently available only on Chromecast Super, using 4 K TV and VP9 hardware decoding computers and 4 K monitor. HDR is currently available only on Chromecast Ultra, using a TV that supports the standard HDR10. Non-subscribers can stream up to 1080p games and up to 60 FPS.

What should I do in order to play?

To get started, first of all, you will need an internet connection, and either a Google Chrome machine, a Chromecast Ultra TV, or a compatible mobile device. You can play on any of those devices using a Stadia Controller.
