On September 1, 1950, Phillip Calvin McGraw was, better known as Dr. Phil, an American television personality, writer, and broadcaster of Dr. Phil's television dramatization. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, though he stopped renewing his license to practice psychology in 2006. McGraw grew to stardom with arrivals on The Oprah Winfrey Show in the late 1990s. Oprah Winfrey then helped McGraw launch his program, Dr. Phil, in September 2002. The show is formatted as an advice show. McGraw wedded Debbie Higgins McCall, his sooner wife, when he was 20 years old in 1970. She argued that McGraw stood ruling and denied letting her work in the family business. Instead, she claimed she was restricted to domestic tasks and told to begin exercising weights to improve her bustline. McCall even commented that their wedding was dissolved due to disloyalty. McGraw encountered and started dating Robin Jo Jameson, whom he wedded in 1976, during the dissolution process in 1973. Jay McGraw and Jordan McGraw are the couple's two children.
