Paul Mescal, the Irish actor, is best known for portraying the leading role of Connell Waldron in BBC Three and Hulu's Irish drama series, Normal People. At 16, Mescal portrayed the lead role of the Phantom in the musical reproduction of The Phantom of the Opera. In 2017, Paul Mescal obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from The Lir Academy under Trinity College Dublin. A year later, he performed at the Lyric Theatre in London for a role in the Plough and the Stars. The following year, he made his television debut in the pilot of an Australian comedy series, Bump. Paul also starred in Phoebe Bridgers' music video, Savior Complex, at the end of last year.
