The astral alignment is also a part of the season's new wayfinder’s voyage quest. The problem now is you won’t be able to get the activity through to the end the first time, not until Bungie patches it at least. You can wait as long as you want because it is one of the greatest games that every millennial cries over, so one can wait until Bungie makes some patches for the issue. As of now, the Astral Alignment has three bugs that prevent you from completing the quest. If you encounter such bugs it shands in your way of completing the task and you have to start it again. The first task to complete the Destiny 2 Astral Alignment is quite easy. Defeat the enemy waves swarming the charging area, and then insert your Compass into the charger terminal to start phase two. Note that some Astral Alignment missions load with a bug and stick you in an existing match. If your Astral Alignment begins without you fighting enemies near the Blind Well, it’s likely one of those bugged missions. Save yourself the trouble and exit the match immediately to try again.

Ways to fix the Destiny 2 Astral Alignment Not Working Issue

Prevent the Ether Harvest Bug

If you experience the prevent the Ether harvest, this means you need to reset the game at some point of time. You can play upto three quarters and after that enemies and objectives will stop spawning and you have no choice but to exit the game. This is particularly frustrating if you're trying to make your way through the Wayfinders Voyage quest, and our only real answer here is you either keep trying until you get a (successful) Install the Batteries run, or wait until Bungie has issued a fix. Speaking of which - Bungie has publicly acknowledged an issue and will be disabling this on daily reset (6pm UK / 10am PDT) on August 25th - until then, you must avoid destroying all ether wisps.

Install the Batteries bug

Installing the battery bug is a little different to the Ether HArvest one. The aim is to carry heavy batteries and deposit them at the top of a hill, taking a break or passing them on to another team member along the way.
