Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series reported and presented by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its foremost part was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the year December 2018 to December 2020; its second part began serialized in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online magazine in the year July 2022. Its chapters have been composed in 12 tankōbon volumes since October 2022. Chainsaw Man observes the story of Denji, an impoverished young man who makes an agreement that fuses his body with that of a dog-like devil named Pochita, presenting him with the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws.

As far as it is known now, Makima is eternally dead. Makima was the Control Devil, and the 'Makima' persona died when Denji killed her. The Control Devil, of course, stayed and came back in the form of Nayuta, who Denji is now raising to avoid another Makima-like character emerging in the series. Is Makima Dead?

In the final chapters of Manga Part 1, Makima and Denji face off for the last time. About twenty components of public security hover after her; chains form and pull away from their chests, connecting them to Makima. Makima wraps her broken palm over Denji's mouth and holds it there for a few seconds. Before swiftly decapitating her, Makima removes the cord from Denji's breast and salutes him.

Who Killed Makima?

As the earlier section stated, Denji ultimately killed Makima. This was very ironic from her perspective, as she had instructed Denji to be her loyal pet from the moment they met. Still, Denji was amazed when Makima brutally killed Power and attempted to fulfill her dream of entering the Chainsaw Devil, which is why he eventually struck her down and ate her. It was out of love, as Denji did not grow to hate Makima, even after everything that happened.

Makima In Chainsaw Man

Makima was a high-ranking Public Safety Devil Hunter who carried Denji as her human pet. She is subsequently revealed to be the Control Devi which embodies the fear of control or conquest. Following her death, Makima is reincarnated as Nayuta. Makima is the primary antagonist of the Public Safety Saga. On the surface, Makima appears to be a nice, gentle, social, and friendly woman; she almost always wears a smile and acts relaxed and confident even during a crisis, speaking in a professional tone to her workers.
