• Senior Engineer /E-III: Upper age limit (as on 01.06.2021) - 42 Years

• Project Engineer - I: Upper age limit as on 01.08.2021 - 28 Years

• Trainee Engineer –I: Upper age limit as on 01.08.2021 - 25 Years

Salary Range for BEL Recruitment 2021

• Senior Engineer /E-III: CTC / Pay scale - 14 Lakhs (approx.) / 50000-3%-160000

• Trainee Engineer–I will be engaged initially for a period of One year which may be extended upto maximum of Three years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration as follows: 1 st year - Rs. 25,000/- pm, 2 nd year- Rs. 28,000/- pm and 3rd year- 31,000/- pm.

• Project Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of Two years which may be extended up to maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual performamnce. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration as follows : 1 st year - Rs. 35,000/-pm, 2nd year -Rs. 40,000/-pm,3rd year Rs. 45,000/- pm and 4th year Rs. 50,000/- pm.

Eligibility criteria BEL Recruitment 2021

Senior Engineer / E-III

• Full time B.E / B. Tech in Electronics or M.E / M. Tech in RF and Microwave design preceded by B.E/B.Tech (Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Communication).

• First Class for General/OBC candidates and Pass Class for ST/PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) candidates from an AICTE approved College/Institute or a recognized University.

• Applicants have to compulsorily provide the CGPA to percentage of marks conversion certificate issued by the competent authority, as per the guidelines provided by their University for both B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech indicating the class obtained.

Project Engineer - I/ Trainee Engineer –I

• Full time BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) course from AICTE approved Institute / University in the relevant disciplines of Engineering. Full time ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc Tech (2 years) course from AICTE approved Institute / University in the relevant disciplines of Engineering. First Class in the indicated qualification for General, OBC, EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC / ST / PWD candidates.

• SC candidates applying for TE-I post will be considered at par with UR criteria. Candidates appeared for last semester and results awaited cases will not be considered.BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) 04 years course Electronics: 01 Post Mechanical : 01 Post

• Post qualification Experience (as on 01.08.2021)

• Minimum of 2 years of post qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory to apply for the post of Project Engineer – I.

• Minimum of 1 year of post qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory to apply for the Post of Trainee Engineer – I. 

Application fee for BEL Recruitment 2021

• Senior Engineer / E-III: Candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 750/- towards application fee through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch).

• Project Engineer - I/ Trainee Engineer –I: Application fee for the post of Project Engineer is Rs. 500/- and Rs. 200/- for Trainee Engineers to be remitted by DD in favour of “Bharat Electronics Limited” payable at Pune is required to be attached along with application. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2021

Senior Engineer / E-III:

• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement will be called for Written Test, for 85 marks.

• Based on the Written Test score, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the order of merit in the ratio 1:5 category wise.

• The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test / Interview, will be posted on the BEL Website. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated in the call letter

• Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates, followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test / Interview will be at Bengaluru.

• The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website.

Project Engineer

• Post, 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum post qualification experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks.

Trainee Engineer

• Post, 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum post qualification experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for post qualification experience of every 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks.

General conditions for BEL Recruitment 2021

• Only Indian nationals need to apply.

• Application fee for the post of Project Engineer is Rs. 500/- and Rs. 200/- for Trainee Engineers to be remitted by DD in favour of “Bharat Electronics Limited” payable at Pune is required to be attached along with application. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

• One candidate can apply for only ONE POST in one application.

• Candidates employed in Govt./Quasi Govt. and Public Sector Undertaking is required to submit the application through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ along with the application without which such candidate will not be considered for the selection process.

• The number of posts indicated above may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.

• It is mandatory for the candidates who are already working with any of the units of Bharat Electronics Limited to send their application through the respective HR or if it is revealed during the selection process that the application was not forwarded by the respective HR, such application will be summarily rejected or candidate will be out of selection process without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-consideration at any stage of the selection process.

• BEL reserves the right to debar the candidates at any stage of selection process, if the candidature is not found suitable

• Candidates belonging to OBC category should produce the certificate issued on or after 01.08.2020 along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

• The admission at all/any stage of selection process will be purely provisional. Mere issue of interview call to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been cleared by BEL. BEL reserves the right to debar / disqualify any candidates at any stage of the selection process for any reason whatsoever. Mere applying for the post shall not be deemed as selection.

• Please ensure that the applicant fulfils all the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement. In case applicant fails to meet any of the eligibility criteria as stated in the advertisement for the post, his/her candidature will be cancelled at any point of selection process.

• The decision of the management in this regard would be final. Candidate must go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before submission of Application fee. Application Fees once paid will not be refunded in any case/circumstances

• Applications complete in all respects should be sent by post (sealed envelope-A4 size) super-scribed “Application for the post of Senior Engineer (E-III)-PDIC” and sent to below mentioned address: Deputy General Manager (HR), Product Development & Innovation Centre (PDIC), Bharat Electronics Limited, Prof. U R Rao Road, Near Nagaland Circle, Jalahalli Post, Bengaluru – 560 013, India.

• The application should reach the given address on or before 07.09.2021 by 5.00 PM, any applications received after the closing date will not be considered, applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, not eligible, without the required enclosures will be summarily rejected without assigning reasons and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

• There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage

Project Engineer - I/ Trainee Engineer –I

• The last date for receipt of duly completed application along with required documents is 09.09.2021. Any application received after 09.09.2021 will not be considered for the selection process.

• After email as per stage -1, Candidates are required (mandatory) to send hard copy of the duly filled in application form & Personal Data Excel file print out & Demand Draft along with the following self-attested photocopies of the documents immediately by Speed Post to Sr. Dy. General Manager (HR&A), Bharat Electronics Limited, N.D.A.Road, Pashan, Pune- 411021 Maharashtra so as to reach it on or before 09.09.2021.

• Any Hard Copy Application received after 09.09.2021 will not be considered for the selection process.

• Envelope shall be Superscribed with Post Code applied for and the senders Name.
