The main criterion for eligibility is that the student should be resident of Punjab state. Below is the Ashirwad Scholarship 2020 Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should be an Indian National belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC category.
Students should have passed Class 10th from any Government/ Private recognized college or Board of Secondary Education in Punjab.
The applicant age should not be less than 17 years.
The annual family income of the SC/ ST candidate should not exceed Rs.2,50,000.
The annual family income of the OBC applicant should not exceed Rs.1,00,000.
Students pursuing distance learning/ correspondence courses can also apply for the scholarship.
Applicants pursuing post-graduation in Medicine are eligible to apply for the scholarship but should not be practising during the course.
Students applying for this scholarship should not be getting any scholarship from another source.

Interested applicants' can visit the Punjab Scholarships official website.
Select the 'Post-matric Scholarship Portal' under the 'Students Corner' section.
New users need to select the 'Student Registration' option to register on the scholarship portal. A User ID and Password will be generated upon successful registration.
The candidate should now log in to the portal by using the registered User ID and Password.
Access the Ashirwad Scholarship online application form and fill all the required details.
Recheck all the entered details to avoid the application getting rejected by the State Education Board.
Upload all the necessary documents and "Submit" the application form.
Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
