The Ark Survival game is played in either a third-person or first-person perspective, and its open world is guided by foot or riding a prehistoric animal. Players can use firearms and improvised weapons to protect against hostile humans and creatures, with the capacity to build bases as a defense on the ground and some creatures. • Adjusted the drag weight of some creatures. Drag weight in TSOTF is used to determine how many tokens a creature provides when killed, how many tokens it needs to be tamed, how many tokens it costs to heal, and how many experience points are required to tier up.

• Therizino drag weight has been increased to 500 (matches Yuty)

• Thylacoleo drag weight has been increased to 400 (matches Mammoth)

• Daeodon drag weight has been increased to 200 (matches Pachyrhinosaurus)

• Overrode the Daeodon token tame cost to 80 tokens due to its role as an aoe-healer.

• OFFICIAL ONLY - CONFIGURATION CHANGE - Temporarily (don't panic it's a bandaid) reduced the damage/resistance of various creatures and bosses in both modes until further balance work can take place after the holidays.

• Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game set in an open-world environment with a dynamic day-night cycle and played either from a third-person or first-person perspective. 

• To survive, players must establish a base with weapons and fire with additional activities, such as taming and feeding dinosaurs, demanding more resources. 

• ARK was re-designed from the ground up, focusing on fast-paced gameplay and intense combat around large-scale creature battles. The game's world, known as the "Ark," is approximately 48 km2 (19 sq mi) in size: 20:20  . There are about 36 km2 (14 sq mi) of land with 12 km2 (4.6 sq mi) of ocean.

• There are currently 176 creatures that populate the world of Ark. In the early versions of the game, nearly all creatures were real dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. 

• However, as the storyline progressed, mythical creatures such as the wyvern, griffin, golem, and phoenix were added. In addition, as expansions were released, completely original creatures, such as the Karkinos and the Velonasaur, made their way into the game as actual robotic creatures, such as the Enforcer and Scout.

• The Survival of the Fittest remains the same. However, we've gone back to the drawing board, and many technical/quality of life/balance changes to the game mode that differs from ARK: Survival Evolved and the original version of Survival of the Fittest. These changes aim to make the experience more streamlined and accessible, eliminating the complex and empowering players to form their Dino Armies quickly and get to the creature action faster.
