Hw to Update Address In Aadhar Card?

Visit Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/.
If you have a valid address proof, click on 'Proceed to Update Address,' you need to visit the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal on UIDAI's website.
But, if you don't have a valid address proof, click on "Request for Address Validation Letter."
In the new window, (https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssupAddressPin/pinGenerate.html), enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number 16-digit number Virtual ID.
Enter the Captcha Verification code from the given box.
After that, click on 'Send OTP,' which will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Alternatively, you can also use the TOTP feature for authentication.
Click on the 'Login' button.
Click on 'Update Address via Address Proof' or 'Update Address Via Secret Code.'
Now, start filling in all the details that need to be corrected and write the complete address while correcting it.
- Any Pin Code and related data (State/District/Village/Town/City/Post office) issues, you can contact UIDAI contact center at [email protected].
- If you want to include the name of Guardian/ Parent/Spouse as part of the address, select the Address correction option. Then select the appropriate box in C/o details and enter the person's name in the next field. C/o details can be updated as a part of the Address update.
- Fill in the complete address and upload all supporting PoA even if you want to update/correct only C/o details.
Now, upload your original colored scanned copies of POA documents.
Preview the entered data both in English and local language as well.
Finally, submit the request. You must note your Update Request Number (URN) for tracking the status of your Aadhaar Update.

How to Update Name in Aadhar Card?

Visit you need to visit the Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre.
Fill in the required details on the Aadhaar Update Form.
Now, enter your current mobile number in the form.
Your request will be registered by the executive at the Aadhaar Enrolment/Update center.
You'll receive an acknowledgment slip containing the URN.
You have to pay a fee of Rs. 50 for availing of this service.

How to Update Mobile Number in Aadhar Card?

If you need to change or update your Aadhar Card mobile number, change or updation can be done by following steps.

Enter only your current mobile number in the form
There is no need to provide any proof for updating your mobile number.

How to Change the DOB in Aadhar Card?

Visit a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
Fill the Aadhaar update form mentioning your DOB.
Submit the proof of date of birth along with the form
You also have to give your biometrics to authenticate your identity and receive an acknowledgment slip containing URN, which can check the Aadhar update status online.
Your DoB will be updated within 90 days in your Aadhaar.
You have to pay a fee of Rs.50 to the executive.

How to Modify Aadhar Card Details Online?

To update the Aadhar Card details online, you need to follow the steps given below.

First, visit the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal and click on "Update your Address Online."
If you have valid address proof, click on "Proceed to Update Address."
Now in the new window, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click on "Send OTP" or "Enter a TOTP."
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number in UIDAI's database.
Now, enter this OTP to login into your Aadhaar account or use the TOTP feature to authenticate.
Select either the "Update Address by Address Proof" option or the "Update Address via the Secret Code" option.
Enter your residential address mentioned in the Proof of Address (PoA) and click on the "Preview" button
If you want to change your address, click the "Modify" option. Else tick the declaration and click on the "Submit" button.
Select the document type you want to submit as PoA for verification and upload the scanned copy of the address proof and click on the "Submit" button.
Your Aadhaar update request will be accepted, and a 14-digit URN will be generated.
The Update Request Number (URN) can be used to check the Aadhar Card Update Status.
Once updated, you can download the updated version and get your Aadhar card print out.
