6 Police Officers Arrested 

Fhulufhuwani Calderon Kwinda (age 55), Nndivhaleni Negota (age 45), Naledzani Jonathan Mabalana (age 55), Takalani Eric Nefolovhodwe (age 45), Midiaifani Tshikovhele (age 35), and Elisa Nenzhelele (age 38) were the six police officers accused of corruption who appeared in Musina Magistrate's Court.

What Happened To 6 Police Officers?

The offenders were arrested on November 25, 2022, as a result of a successful sting operation put out by the SAPS, according to NPA spokeswoman Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi.

These police policemen were stationed at Musina, Limpopo, along the border crossing between South Africa and Zimbabwe. They were then detained for corruption connected to the importation of illegal cigarettes.

Major General Samuel Manala, the deputy provincial commissioner in charge of detecting crime in Limpopo, stated at the time of their arrest that the police officers, who range in age from 31 to 55 and are assigned to the Tshamutumbu police station, were taken into custody after it was discovered that they had engaged in acts of corruption and helped a cigarette syndicate cross the border secretly.
