Another video reveals the man and woman standing outside a coffee shop near Block 110 Yishun Ring Road. The woman held at knifepoint as a group of officers confronted him.

Responding to a call for help at 7.36 am, the police revealed they disarmed the man and then arrested him at the scene.

The woman was 60 years old and suffered minor injuries. It is said that she refused to be taken to the hospital. A knife was taken as a case exhibit. Early investigations revealed the man and woman did not know each other, the police said.

Later, Stallholders at the coffee shop told TODAY that the woman works as a cleaner elsewhere. Police investigations are going on.
