As per the new patch notes, you will be introduced with the new characters in the game. Basically, Some new characters are going to add in this upcoming update. the rest of the details are mentioned below:

System

• Original Resins from Katheryne will be accessed. It will be available from 12 PM and 6 PM.

•  notification, when your friends will be online, will be there.

• There will be support for 60fps and high graphics support.

Quest

• There will be a new story quest in Liyue Harbor. It will be available only when you reach level 30 and you will get new gliders and  primogems.

• A new character Zhongli will be added who is going to deal Geo damage to enemies. 

• A new map Inazuma in the game which you will be able to visit when you will reach the Adventure rank 35 

• Another new character Ayaka Kamisato will alo be there when you reach Adventure Rank 42 as well as complete the Liyue main quest.

This was the leaked  Patch Notes regarding Genshin Impact Update 1.1. it has not been confirmed by the developers regarding the relese of update but as per the sources, update might be released on October 12, 2020. This update will be available for all gaming platforms.

Genshin Impact When is Patch 1.1 coming out?

On its official site, miHoYo offered insight into Genshin Impact's current condition. It was there that it clarified that after launch, the team faced different performance issues that it had not expected. Any of these issues included "all sorts of stuck issues, attack plug-ins, abnormal fights, etc. This is most likely due to miHoYo not expecting the incredibly successful launch of Genshin Effect in the first few days of over 21 million matches." The players have not been able to enjoy any of the new festivals that miHoYo has scheduled for the game because of these Genshin Effect bugs, as it clarified that it did not finish arranging for the festivals until around October 1.

A big hit has been the Genshin Effect. The newly published Action RPG for smartphone, PlayStation 4, and PC. Some PC Genshin Impact users, however, have reported extremely slow download speeds.
